Arc.AI (“Arc,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of persons who access or use the Arc.AI platform (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes the categories of information we collect, the purposes for which we use that information, and the rights and choices available to individuals.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to www.arcai-chat.vercel.app and any related domains, products, or services that reference it. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that integrate with, or are linked from, the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide to Us

(a) Account Information. When you create an Arc account we collect your e-mail address and any credentials necessary to authenticate you.
(b) Workspace Credentials. If you choose to connect your Notion workspace or supply model API keys (“BYOK Keys”), we store only hashed or encrypted versions of those credentials.
(c) Communications. We collect information you provide when you correspond with us, such as support requests.

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

(a) Usage Metrics. We log the time, model provider, token counts, and basic performance telemetry for each request. We do not retain the content of your prompts or responses.
(b) Device Information. We gather browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and diagnostic purposes.

3. Purposes of Processing

We process personal information to: (i) provide and maintain the Service; (ii) authenticate users and secure accounts; (iii) measure usage and prevent abuse; (iv) comply with legal obligations; and (v) communicate material changes to the Service or this Policy.

4. Legal Bases

Where applicable, we rely on one or more of the following bases: performance of a contract; legitimate interests (such as maintaining and improving the Service); your consent (where obtained); and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We disclose information only:

• to third-party model providers solely for the purpose of fulfilling your requests;
• to vendors who perform services on our behalf under written agreements;
• when required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety; and
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, in which case you will be notified.

6. International Transfers

We may transfer information to jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Data Retention

We retain account e-mail addresses and hashed BYOK Keys until you delete your account or revoke access. Aggregated usage metrics are retained for no longer than thirty (30) days. Crash logs are purged after fourteen (14) days.

8. Security

We employ administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to safeguard personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; therefore we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@arcai-chat.vercel.app.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under sixteen (16). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have done so, we will delete such information promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by e-mail.
